New Jersey Civil Union application and requirements
Celebrate your special union in seaside style in Atlantic City. Thanks to the New Jersey Civil Unions law, effective February 19, 2007, domestic partners are welcomed to express their commitment while enjoying all of the attractions of this historical resort.
Civil Union Licenses are valid for a ceremony anywhere within the state of New Jersey for 30 days. Simply apply for the license in the New Jersey Municipality or town where either partner resides.

Jean Muchanic is a recently ordained minister. Jean enjoys sealing the unions of loving couples and performing her duties as the Executive Director of Absecon Lighthouse in Atlantic City. Jean will perform your ceremony at a site chosen by you or you can elect to hold your ceremony at the historical Absecon Lighthouse. Atlantic City's historic Absecon Lighthouse, the tallest of New
Jersey's lights, still boasts its original First-Order Fresnel lens. Visitors
can climb its 228 steps for a spectacular view Monday through Thursday from 11:00
a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
